All week long we had great weather for April, and low and behold, on shoot day the temperatures drop 10 degrees and rains. I have said it numerous times though, it gives character to the shoot, especially when you have a couple like Kathryn and Sean who embrace any moment, regardless of weather. I had the pleasure of meeting Kathryn and Sean back when photographing Angie and Jamie’s Wedding and was so excited when they asked me to shoot theirs. I love working alongside such down to earth, fun-loving people.
I can sum up this entire shoot with one word, play. We started off by walking around this little park in Whitby and just exploring (one of my favourite things to do, especially when photography is involved!), and the shoot slowly transformed into a hockey brawl, battle on the playground, a game of catch, and even a game of 500-UP, for those of you who remember running to the field at recess in hopes of catching the first jackpot.
Kathryn and Sean, you guys rock, and I cannot for the wedding!
